The pool was shut down the most part of our stay and when it was open it was overcrowded. when we checked in we did not get the * dollar casino voucher that everyone else got they charged us * dollar a day for the phone which we never used. The room next to us was loud all nighy long the only thing the bed was comfortable.

I've stayed at all the big strip hotels and most are nice. But I didn't like walking forever to find the evevators, my room and then back to the casino. The Palms is small enough that you check in fast and are in your room and back downstairs to gamble,go to a movie, check the pool, or eat at a fantastic restaurant but still offers great service you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Try the Fantasy Tower. No "soaking tubs" each room has a jacuzzi tub. Wher else can you run into the actual owner in the casino?? Most of the staff has been there since the opening 9 years ago. They know how to take care of guests unlike a huge new player in town. Check out the deals they offer. It is my new home in Vegas and where I tell all my friends to stay. I'll be back again!!

We enjoyed our stay over the Christmas weekend. I have stayed at the Palms about 3 other times. Although it is not a themed hotel I have watched this hotel evolve through renovations, additions and upgrades. It has all the immenities that the other larger hustle-bustle on-the-strip hotels have without as much fuss. By day we went to the movie theatre downstairs where there is a great food court. By night we had a great dinner on site with a visit to one of the clubs on the premisis. I also love the lay-out. I never get lost in this casino. Our room had a great view with a very comfortable bed. The Palms remains one of my top picks for a Vegas stay.

We had an upgrade to a junior suite which was a corner room facing the strip. We could sit on our bed and see the lights of the strip. The beds were comfy with the nicer linens. The other furniture is dated, but for our purposes it was clean and a very comfortable for a reasonable price. We had a car and since you can park at almost any of the hotels it was very easy to go wherever we wanted on the strip. Breakfast at the Bistro was tasty, nothing unusual. Would definitely stay at the Palms again.

12/03/2009The hotel room was a disappointment. the beds were full size beds instead of queen size beds for 3 adults. no flat screen television. no coffee maker. no desk.
