The Orleans was a great stay and would do it all over again. The movie theater was on site as was the bowling so we didn't have to travel far for some entertainment. The buffet was better than I expected for the price, especially breakfast which had very small lines and a lot of great tasting food. The rooms were very comfortable with the most beautiful view of the entire strip. The only downside was the heat which was my own fault for visiting Vegas in August. Definately give the trip a 10 out of 10.

Vegas is really trying to attract visitors after a tough economic year. Hotel prices on the Strip and off-Strip are very attractive. The Orleans, for the price, is a good value. Rooms are spacious, but nothing extra. I did not like the configuration of the rooms, as there is no noise barrier. When you open the door to the room, you immediately face the bed, and the bathroom and closet are on the far end of the room, as opposed to a standard hotel room. The only ventilation in the bathroom is a small window which opens to the outside from inside the shower. But overall, the room was clean, well-maintained, and offered a great view of the Nevada mountains. The breakfast in the Courtyard Cafe was not bad, actually a good selection and value for the money. If you want a nice dinner, however, there are many other options in Vegas worthy of your dollars. Check-in was quick, the valet service was prompt and friendly, I requested an extra pillow and it was delivered in less than 10 minutes, we ordered room service once and it was timely and cooked to order. It's certainly not going to compare to the Bellagio or Ceasar's Palace, but it was money well-spent. My car rental for three days was only $* more than I paid for three nights at the Orleans. And if you want to be away from the noise and traffic on the Strip, this is a good place to be.

Stayed here for 12 nights on business for an avg. of $**.00/night including resort fee. Great room. Friendly and efficient staff. Free valet parking. Food was avg. in buffet and 24 hr. cafe. Prime Rib Loft had excellent food and reasonably priced. Only downside to stay was smoky casino you had to walk thru to reach rooms. Only a small portion of casino was non-smoking. Guest rooms were very quiet and clean.
