For $* a night, it wasn't that bad. Carpets were stained, holes in the the walls were covered with faceplates, and the non-smoking room smelled smoky. Bed was old and creaky. But, it was a bed, the hot water worked, and housekeeping kept it reasonably clean. Other staff, however, were quite unfriendly. I was treated rudely the very first time I ventured into the casino. So I won't be going back to either Charlie's, nor their other property - the Stratosphere. They lost a customer forever. And one who doesn't mind telling others of his experience.

We had to go to Las Vegas for personal reasons on very short notice. We found Arizona Charlie's on Travelocity for an excellent price. The location was ideal for us. We do not like "the strip". The room was spacious, clean and everything worked. We had dinner one evening at their fancier restaurant ("Steak House" I believe.) The meal was well prepared, tasty and well served. We had a light breakfast the following morning in their coffee shop. It too was fine. Overall, if we have business in the Boulder City/Henderson area again, Arizona Charlie's will be at the top of our hotel llst.

Pretty good experience overall. I noticed the comment about no coffee makers & I wanted one as I saw that one would be available upon request. So I emailed my request in on their website. I got a call from the hotel the day we were to arrive. She said they can't get the web designer to take the "coffee maker available upon request" off their website. So, that is why there is a mix-up. She was very polite. I think I would stay there again. However the casino was so smoky from cigarettes (yuck). The food was really good everywhere on the premises, especially the breakfast buffet.(apply for the ACE card for a discount on the food!) Everyone working there was very cordial also. It was February, & the pool was closed for maintenance-not a problem for us. My husband & I both enjoyed our stay there.

If you are looking for lots of attention from the staff, this is not the place for you. More like a motel than a hotel, but for the price, what a great deal. The suite was very large and clean but because of it's size seemed sparsely furnished. Two TVs, but both of them small. Standard motel bath arrangement with a generous shower head. The adjacent casino with dining areas above was a bit smokey but not terrible. The food in the restaurant and buffet was very good and reasonably priced. We didn't use the pool but could see and hear it from our room. It's not overly large but all the kids playing there seemed to be having a great time. Twenty minutes to a half hour to drive to either the airport or the strip did not seem bad at all. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
